GENERAL PROJECT INFORMATION
The aim of the project is to support the establishment and development of social enterprises, the development of the social economy ecosystem, as well as the development of non-formal and informal learning activities for people aged 65 and over, in order to improve the quality of life of society, increase employment opportunities for population groups at risk of social exclusion, and strengthen the development of the social economy as a whole.
The project is implemented by the Ministry of Welfare in cooperation with:
Joint Stock Company “Development Finance Institution Altum”, which provides support to social entrepreneurs.
The Society Integration Foundation, which, in accordance with the Society Integration Foundation Law, promotes social integration and supports the implementation of public and non-governmental sector development programmes and projects.
Project implementation period: October 2023 – 31 December 2029.
PROJECT PROGRESS INFORMATION as of 31 July 2026
To date, a total of 145 social enterprises have received support, including 120 social enterprises that have received grants from ALTUM and 25 social enterprises that have received compensation from the Ministry of Welfare for employing persons with disabilities and persons with mental health conditions.
In addition, 339 people at risk of social exclusion have been integrated into the labour market and are employed by social enterprises that have received support.
