Members of the Social Enterprise Commission Selected for the Next Three Years

The Ministry of Welfare

On 12 April 2024, the selection process for candidates nominated by associations and foundations for the positions of members of the Social Enterprise Commission was concluded.

For the next three-year term, the non-governmental sector will be represented in the Social Enterprise Commission by the following members:

  • Agita Krastiņa, Project Manager, Foundation “Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church Youth Centre”

  • Inga Muižniece, Chair of the Board, Latvian Social Entrepreneurship Association

  • Egils Rupeks, Specialist – Social Entrepreneurship Consultant and Mentor, St. Luke’s Support Society

  • Eva Viļķina, Chair of the Board, Association “Wings of Hope”

  • Uldis Vītoliņš, Executive Director, Association of Regional Development Centres

The European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) project “Support for Social Entrepreneurship” is implemented in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 818 of 19 December 2023,

“Implementation rules for Measure 4.3.3.3 ‘Support for Social Entrepreneurship’ under Specific Objective 4.3.3 of the EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021–2027: ‘Improving access to employment and activation measures for all jobseekers, especially young people (in particular through the Youth Guarantee), long-term unemployed, disadvantaged groups, and economically inactive persons, as well as promoting self-employment and the social economy’.”
