The Ministry of Culture (MoC) invites media industry representatives to a seminar on October 3rd, “Media Innovations in the Digital Age,” where media will share their experience implementing the European Union Recovery and Resilience Facility measure “Modernization of Media Industry Enterprise Processes,”* as well as discuss more broadly the future of professional media in the age of artificial intelligence.
The seminar will take place on Friday, October 3rd, at 11:30 a.m. at the Latvian Academy of Culture Film School Pavilion (Miera Street 58a, Riga).
In the first part of the seminar, media companies will share their experiences and insights on how the Recovery and Resilience Facility's investments help modernize business processes and develop accessible and convenient services for the public, while the second part of the event will include a discussion on the future of professional media in the age of artificial intelligence.
The program for the modernization and digitalization of media industry companies provides support for the development of technological solutions for media modernization and digitalization, acceleration of production processes of companies, as well as the creation of IT tools that improve the accessibility of media content and data analysis on their audience habits.
The total funding of the program “Modernizing processes in media industry companies” is 11.1 million euros; support measures are planned to be implemented until June 30, 2026.
