GENERAL PROJECT INFORMATION
Within measure 4.2.3.1. “Integrated School – Community”, the education sector project “School in the Community” is being implemented. The planned outcomes of the project include, among others, the social inclusion of learners, the promotion of their well-being in the educational environment, and the development of inclusive education.
The aim of the project is to develop an integrated school–community (i.e., municipal education ecosystem) approach, promoting inter-institutional cooperation and the involvement of learners’ parents (or legal guardians) in the educational process, in order to ensure coordinated action to reduce the risks of social exclusion and early school leaving, and to facilitate the acquisition of general basic and secondary education content.
PROJECT PROGRESS INFORMATION
Mentors have been successfully selected and engaged to provide support in the project’s youth mentoring activities. Preparations are underway to launch mentoring training to promote the development of mentors’ professional competences and to ensure a unified approach in the work process.
A unit-level methodology has been approved, serving as the basis for the project’s practical implementation and quality assurance.
Guidelines have been developed, providing a structured framework and practical recommendations for project implementation.
Idea workshops have been held in five municipalities, where stakeholders jointly developed proposals and solutions for reducing social exclusion and strengthening communities.
