On December 11, the Salaspils Health Centre Building entrance knot Construction Festival has been celebrated, which certifies completion of a substantial construction phase – construction of building-carrying structures.

As part of the redevelopment, a fitting at ground floor level will be built in the patio, with the floor level adapted to the height of the pavement. It will provide easy access to the building for people with disabilities, seniors and visitors with prams. A registered office, waiting hall, wardrobe, facilities adapted for persons with functional disorders, pharmacy, laboratory point and the office of a doctor of duty shall be provided in the annexe.

At the same time, a new passenger lift shaft will be built to the third floor of the building, which will allow visitors to the health center to use two lifts, significantly improving the accessibility of the building's environment. The first floor also envisages a room for new mothers with children, visitors to the amenities, as well as an additional study instead of the previous receptionist.

The construction works are being implemented in the investment of the European Union Recovery and resilience Facility Plan 4.1.1.3.3. “Support for strengthening the health infrastructure of secondary outpatient providers to ensure a comprehensive sustainable integrated health service, to reduce the spread of infectious diseases, to ensure epidemiological requirements” (Project No 4.1.1.3.i.0/1/23/I/CFLA/041).
