GENERAL PROJECT INFORMATION
The aim of the measure is to develop state information and communication technology solutions and services and to promote the digitalisation of the private sector and the creation of new services.
The target group of the measure is the public and private sector, including economic operators, associations, foundations and social enterprises, the entire Latvian society, state administration, municipalities, public person capital companies (for the performance of delegated administrative tasks) and planning regions.
Within the framework of the measure, it is envisaged that at least half of the funding of the measure (87.4 million euros) will be allocated to projects within the framework of which it is planned to develop services, products or processes aimed at enterprises. The remaining projects of the measure will be aimed at fulfilling the new requirements (regulations) of the European Union (EU) in the field of public services, for example, cross-border availability of services (Single Digital Gateway regulation), accessibility requirements, etc.
1.3.1.1. Within the framework of the measure, only individual projects are planned as strategically important projects - data management program projects, which will be implemented within the framework of the architecture "Data Management and Sharing" (approved by the State Information and Communication Technology Management Managers Forum on 27.11.2024), the aim of which is to ensure data sharing within the state administration, including ensuring data transfer to merchants. The planned amount of funding, purpose, and achievable results for the implementation of these projects will be determined in the relevant orders of the Cabinet of Ministers on the implementation of the projects.
