GENERAL PROJECT INFORMATION

The aim of the project is to promote the development of a multimodal public transport network with the railway as the backbone of the public transport system by establishing a public transport connection point near the railway station “Jelgava”.

Activities:

-          construction of public road transport and passenger waiting platforms near the railway station “Jelgava” and improvement of the territory;

-          construction of a multi-storey car parking lot.

As a result of the project, all prerequisites will be provided for the relocation of the current Jelgava city bus station next to the railway station “Jelgava”, creating a multimodal public transport network near the railway station “Jelgava” with the railway as the backbone of the public transport system.

The project implementation is planned until 31.12.2028.
