The Business.gov.lv platform promotes effective cooperation between public administration and businesses, makes the business environment more accessible, and contributes to achieving Latvia’s digital transformation objectives. Designed as a single digital gateway for entrepreneurs, the platform provides a foundation for further development through 2030. Available in both Latvian and English, it combines the digitalisation of services provided by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) with the functionality of the Single Business Gateway.
Business.gov.lv was developed as a single digital contact point for entrepreneurs between 10 May 2023 and 31 May 2026 as part of the European Union Recovery and Resilience Facility investment project 2.1.2.1.i. “Digital Services Platform for Business Development”. The project was jointly implemented by the Ministry of Economics, the Ministry of Smart Administration and Regional Development, and LIAA.
The aim of the project was to create a modern and user-friendly digital environment that provides entrepreneurs and prospective business owners with convenient access to public services, information, and support opportunities, thereby reducing the administrative burden and improving access to services.
As a result of the project, a platform has been created that provides:
access to comprehensive information relevant to doing business;
information on national and European Union support programmes;
convenient digital services and e-services for entrepreneurs;
consultations and access to business development support instruments;
a single point of access to services provided by various public authorities.

Total eligible costs: EUR 1,929,182.12
Results achieved: The target set out in the project framework – to attract at least 1,000 registered EU businesses and users to the platform – was successfully achieved by 25 May 2026.
