Building modern mobility - the train stop “Biznesa augstskola “Turība””

With EU fund investments, the train stop “Biznesa augstskola “Turība”” is being transformed into a convenient and accessible public transport hub (Station 2.0).

Objective – to promote the development of a multimodal public transport network with rail as the backbone of the public transport system, by creating a public transport connection hub at the railway station “Biznesa augstskola “Turība”” in Riga, while at the same time promoting micromobility within the overall mobility system.

    The total project funding is EUR 51.7 million, of which EUR 43.9 million is co-financed by the Cohesion Fund.

    Project “Construction of the Public Transport Hub ‘Biznesa augstskola “Turība”’”.

    The total project funding is EUR 1.5 million, including EUR 1.29 million from the European Regional Development Fund and EUR 227.46 thousand from Riga municipality funding.
