A Mobility Hub/Station 2.0 is being built in Cēsis

The video about the project “Promoting sustainable multimodal mobility in Cēsis” implemented by the Cēsis municipality.

The aim of the project is to promote the development of a multimodal public transport network with railway as the backbone of the public transport system, creating public transport connection hub and at the same time promoting micromobility.

During the project Stacijas laukums (Station Square) is being rebuilt, pedestrian and bicycle paths are being built, lighting is being improved in the pedestrian section of Vaives and Apšu streets, and a parking lot is being created at Kaļķu street.The project is being implemented from June 2025 to June 2026.

Total eligible project costs 3,622,512.25 EUR, of which construction supervision 3,427,885.22 EUR, project development costs 73,370.77 EUR, author supervision costs 20,222.60 EUR and construction supervision costs 89,296.66 EUR, archaeological supervision costs 11,737.00 EUR, including VAT 21%. ERDF co-financing 3,079,135.41 EUR, which is 85% of the eligible project costs. Municipal financing 543,376.84 EUR.
