With the co-financing of the European Regional Development Fund, a modern sports infrastructure will be built at the State Police College

On March 23 of this year, the State Provision Agency concluded a construction contract worth over 3 million euros with the general partnership "CES Group" for the construction of sports fields and grandstands at the State Police College on Ezermalas Street in Riga. Work is currently underway on the development of the construction design for these sports fields and grandstands.

The construction of the sports fields and grandstands will provide a higher quality study environment and infrastructure that meets modern trends and requirements. It will also strengthen the physical fitness of both the cadets of the State Police College and State Police officers as a whole.

The contract was concluded within the framework of Measure 3 of the European Regional Development Fund Project No. 4.2.1.6/3/24/I/001, "Modernization of the Learning Environment of Vocational Education Institutions of the Ministry of the Interior for the Acquisition of Skills Relevant to the Sectors." The total contract price is EUR 3,282,365.83 excluding VAT.
