With the co-financing of EU funds, work continues on the establishment of the SFRS fire safety, logistics, and repair base

The State Provision Agency, in cooperation with the State Fire and Rescue Service, continues to implement Project No. 2.1.3.3/3/25/I/003, "Construction of the Firefighting, Logistics, and Repair Base Complex."

Direct Objective of the Project: To build the Firefighting, Logistics, and Repair Base Complex in order to improve the infrastructure of the State Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS). This will enhance national resilience in crisis situations and strengthen the capacity to manage and overcome disasters and other threats.

Project Progress:

  • April 22, 2026: A service acceptance act was signed regarding the completion of the service contract No. IeM NVA 2025/13-Buv (dated April 8, 2025) for the development of the minimum scope of the construction design for the SFRS firefighting, logistics, and repair base complex at 3 Kengaraga Street, Bldg. 1, Riga (procurement identification number: IeM NVA 2024/120). The construction design in its minimum scope was developed by the joint-stock company "Siltumelektroprojekts".

  • March 25, 2026: A service contract No. IeM NVA 2026/75-Pak was signed with a partnership consisting of SIA "CKL", SIA "EPVA Eksperti", SIA "Brangi", and SIA "P.M.G." for the provision of engineering consulting services during the design and construction phases of the SFRS Firefighting, Logistics, and Repair Base Complex at 3 Kengaraga Street, Bldg. 1, Riga (procurement identification number: IeM NVA 2025/94). Under the contract, the contractor provides the preparation of procurement documentation, engineering consulting services during the procurement process, engineering consulting services (FIDIC contract management) throughout the entire duration of the FIDIC contract, as well as construction supervision services.

  • Phase 1 of the restricted competition "Design and Construction Implementation of the Firefighting, Logistics, and Repair Base Complex" (Procurement identification number: IeM NVA 2025/122) has concluded, and work continues on organizing Phase 2 of the restricted competition.

We invite businesses to follow the announced procurements in order to jointly achieve the project's objective and carry out the construction of the Firefighting, Logistics, and Repair Base Complex.

Expected Project Results: A fully constructed Firefighting, Logistics, and Repair Base Complex to improve SFRS infrastructure.

The project is co-financed by the European Union.
