From June 10 to 18, 2025, six more officials from the General Inspectorate of Border Police of the Republic of Moldova were hosted for an exchange visit at the State Border Guard's Ventspils Board. The visit took place in accordance with the activity plan of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) co-financed project "Strengthening the Capacity of the General Inspectorate of Border Police of the Republic of Moldova in the Field of 'Green' and 'Blue' Border Control (LatMoldova)" – implemented by the State Border Guard of the Republic of Latvia, the General Inspectorate of Border Police of the Republic of Moldova, and the State Border Guard College – with the aim of training the members of the second inspection group of the Republic of Moldova's Border Police.
