The State Police College invites bids for engineering consultancy services for the establishment of the Internal Security Academy's practical training center.

The State Provision Agency has announced an open tender for engineering consultancy services during the design and construction phases of the upcoming Internal Security Academy practical training center, a tactical vehicle polygon, and its adjacent parking lot.

"Modern, motivating, and adapted learning conditions are a prerequisite for training qualified personnel to strengthen Latvia's internal security. This procurement is a significant step towards a new practical training environment," emphasizes Dmitrijs Homenko, Director of the State Police College.

The planned facility will be located on Ezermalas Street in Riga. It will include the construction of training center (polygon) buildings and a tactical vehicle polygon, parking spaces for operational transport, as well as the installation of utility networks and surrounding infrastructure, and the demolition of existing structures.

The goal of this procurement is to attract a highly qualified team of experts to provide professional support during the "Design and Build" phase. More information and procurement documentation are available in the Electronic Procurement System (EIS): https://www.eis.gov.lv/EKEIS/Supplier/Procurement/139891.

This procurement is being implemented within the framework of Project No. VP/IDF/2024/5 "Strengthening the Mobility and Counter-Terrorism Capabilities of the State Police by Creating a Practical Training Center" of the European Union's Internal Security Fund 2021-2027 programming period, with the Ministry of Interior serving as the managing authority in Latvia.

The implementation period is from April 1, 2024, to December 31, 2029.
