The Ministry of the Interior's Industry Day 2025, supported by the EU, was successfully held

Ministry of the Interior

On April 10, 2025, the Ministry of the Interior, with the support of the European Union, hosted the "Ministry of the Interior Industry Day 2025", which aimed to stimulate discussion on current issues in the home affairs sector, as well as to provide an opportunity for businesses and educational institutions to present technology development trends in strengthening security functions to home affairs sector institutions and allies.

Minister of the Interior Rihards Kozlovskis: "Security has always been one of the state's priorities, but in recent years, given the geopolitical situation and the development of the military industry, its importance has become even greater. This is the fourth year we have gathered for Industry Day, and I want to thank everyone for their responsiveness. Upon visiting the industry representatives' stands, I see that there are many different solutions that are relevant and necessary in the context of today's security challenges".

The event included two panel discussions with the participation of the Ministry of the Interior and internal affairs sector institution leadership, as well as representatives from businesses and educational institutions.
