The EU co-funded project "Latvia - a country by the Baltic Sea!" is being successfully implemented

On August 12, 2024, a new group began an introductory course about life in Latvia. In the first session, the lecturer, Gunta Viksne, a board member of the association "Shelter 'Safe House'", spoke about Latvia and its history.

Participants said after the class that they had not previously known about the challenges that Latvia and its people had faced on the path to independence. Those who had come to us from Ukraine saw many similarities with Ukraine's history.

The 9-session cycle will conclude with a creative workshop. Where will the group go? It's a secret for now, but it will certainly be an exciting and educational experience!
