Ministry of the Interior

As part of an open project competition organized by the Society Integration Foundation, the State Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) has launched the project "SFRS Family Festival 2026."

The objective of the project is to foster cohesion, a sense of belonging, and emotional well-being among SFRS employees and their families by organizing an inclusive joint outdoor event, thereby strengthening a family-friendly work environment and a positive institutional culture.

The implementation period of the project runs from June 12 to October 30 of this year. The SFRS Family Festival is scheduled for August 15, 2026.

The total budget of the project is EUR 5,333.33 (SFRS budget share: EUR 1,333.33; EU funding: EUR 4,000.00).

As a result of the project, the internal culture of the SFRS is expected to become more open and inclusive, enhancing cooperation, intergenerational understanding, and communication among employees. Improved emotional well-being and family involvement will reduce the risk of stress and burnout for staff, which in the long term will promote service efficiency and quality, while providing a positive long-term impact on society as a whole.

The project is co-funded under the European Union Cohesion Policy Programme for 2021–2027.
