State Police College celebrates #ErasmusDays! Investing in international cooperation and professional development

Ministry of the Interior

The #ErasmusDays are being celebrated worldwide this week! The State Police College is proud to be part of this international adventure, actively engaging in various exchange programme activities and strengthening cooperation with Erasmus+ higher education institutions across Europe.

To promote professional development, motivate the acquisition of valuable experience, and strengthen international cooperation, the State Police College regularly invites both active and motivated cadets, as well as lecturers and staff, to participate in the Erasmus+ programme activities.

To date, in the Erasmus+ programme, the State Police College has closely cooperated with the Academy of Security Sciences in Estonia, Mykolas Romeris University in Lithuania, the Police Academy in Szczytno, Poland, the Police Academy of Lower Saxony and the University of Applied Police Sciences in Saxony, Germany, the Norwegian Police University College, and the University of Akureyri in Iceland.

Foreign colleagues also regularly arrive at the State Police College for experience exchange. In total, approximately 130 mobility participants have visited the State Police College within the framework of Erasmus+ projects since 2016.

Since 2015, the State Police College has implemented seven Erasmus+ KA1 projects, and the implementation of two more projects is still ongoing. At the same time, the State Police College has actively worked on three Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership projects, serving as the leading partner in two of them and a cooperating partner in one. Additionally, this year it is planned to launch a fourth Strategic Partnership project, in which the State Police College will participate as a cooperating partner.

Together with Erasmus+, the representatives of the State Police College grow, learn, and expand their horizons – step by step creating a stronger and more unified police education community in Europe!

Erasmus+ is a vital EU programme for supporting education, training, youth, and sport!
