State Border Guard Service of Kyrgyzstan delegation visits State Border Guard College. EU supports borders security

On May 16, 2025, a delegation from the State Border Guard Service of Kyrgyzstan visited the State Border Guard College as part of a study visit to the State Border Guard.

The guests were introduced to the State Border Guard College's training processes, main tasks, and infrastructure. Representatives of the delegation were shown special and technical equipment, gear, and weapons used by the State Border Guard Service. At the State Border Guard College's Cynology Centre, the guests observed the training process of dog handlers and service dogs.

The visit was organized under Grant Agreement No. ACA/2020/420-247, signed by the State Border Guard and the European Union Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic (on behalf of the European Commission), within the framework of the "Border Management Programme in Central Asia" (BOMCA 10) project. The project's main goal is to improve border security, promote trade, and raise the living standards of border residents in the Central Asian region. The State Border Guard provides leadership for this project, implementing practical activities and cooperation initiatives.
