The musician is a laureate of several Latvian and international competitions, as well as the winner of 1st place in the national percussion competition. This year, he won a significant victory in the Yamaha percussion competition.
The concert will also feature one of the best Latvian organists - Aigars Reinis, whom the audience has already met in several concerts at the concert hall "Latvija", including in the series "Organ Music on Sunday" at the concert "Piacciola and South American Rhythms" in September, which also featured Reinis Tomiņš. The winner of the Grand Music Award, Aigars Reinis, is a participant in many international and Latvian music projects. Among his musical collaboration partners are the State Academic Choir "Latvija", the Latvian Radio Choir, the Chamber Choir "Ave Sol", including successful and productive cooperation with conductor Aigars Meri, the Ventspils Chamber Orchestra and the mixed choir "Ventspils".
Cellist Maksims Beitāns began his music studies in his homeland, Latvia, but later continued at the Royal College of Music in Great Britain and the Swiss Conservatory in Lugano. He has been performing since childhood and is a laureate of 18 international competitions, having received five “Grand Prix”.
