Moldovan colleagues visit Latvia to exchange experience and discuss Erasmus+ cooperation in border guard training

Ministry of the Interior

On October 21, representatives of the training centres of the Moldovan border control authorities visited the State Border Guard College to exchange experience in border guard training between the border control institutions of both countries.

Representatives of the State Border Guard College introduced the guests to the college's core operational processes, the implementation of the study process, and the use of digital tools in the professional preparation of border guards.

The guests gained an understanding of the formal and non-formal educational programmes implemented by the State Border Guard College, their content, organisation, and execution. The guests were shown the classrooms and the equipment and technical means used in the training. The delegation also visited the Professional and Tactical Training Centre, including the “Janapole” training ground, where the guests familiarized themselves with the capabilities of the modern shooting range.

During the visit, the possible initiation of cooperation within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme between the training centres of the Moldovan border control authorities and the State Border Guard College was discussed.
