Ministry of the Interior

Līna Nguyen has been living in Liepāja for several years, a period filled with both challenges and beautiful changes. One of the most significant steps she has taken is learning the Latvian language—progressing from her very first words to increasingly confident everyday conversations.

Līna's story serves as a reminder that every small step is a pathway toward greater confidence, new opportunities, and a sense of belonging!

The Society Integration Foundation's One-Stop Shop provides free advisory support to third-country nationals who have arrived in Latvia, have been living here for some time, and hold a legal residence permit.

The project is implemented under the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund, where the Ministry of the Interior acts as the responsible authority in Latvia, and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia acts as the delegated authority for integration matters.
