EU co-funded project promotes dialogue between entrepreneurs and integration specialists in Kurzeme

Ministry of the Interior

Yesterday, during a support event organized by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) Kurzeme Representative Office, entrepreneurs had the opportunity to learn about the support provided by the One-Stop Agency for newcomers in Latvia.

Anastasija Jemeļjanova, the Cross-sectoral Cooperation Coordinator of the Society Integration Foundation’s One-Stop Agency, provided information on the agency's support, emphasizing the vital importance of cooperation with businesses. The support offered to employers is a significant tool for optimizing daily processes and improving integration and inclusion opportunities for employees.

For the One-Stop Agency, such meetings are particularly important. Close cooperation with entrepreneurs helps us better understand the real needs of the labor market and create practical solutions for the inclusion of newcomers into employment.

As the agency’s specialists work with job seekers daily, an open dialogue with entrepreneurs is an essential part of the journey toward successful cooperation and a cohesive working environment.

The project is implemented within the framework of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). The managing authority in Latvia is the Ministry of the Interior, and the delegated authority for integration matters is the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia.

Successful integration of newcomers into the labor market not only reduces social risks but also strengthens the country’s overall economic security and resilience.
