Erasmus+ continues to inspire! State Police College strengthens cooperation with Saxony Police University

Ministry of the Interior

To foster and strengthen international cooperation, and as part of the Erasmus+ exchange program, 13 students and one lecturer from the Saxony University of Applied Sciences for Police (Hochschule der Sächsischen Polizei (FH)) visited the State Police College from June 16 to 20, 2025!

The students from the Saxony Police University learned about police education in Latvia and gained insights into the functions and competencies of the State Police College. The visitors also had the opportunity to visit the State Police's Central Criminal Police Department and the State Police's Central Public Order Police Department. They also got to learn about the work of the Riga Municipal Police and the Port Police.

During their visit, the students participated in a shooting lesson and visited the German Embassy to meet with the liaison officer from the German Federal Criminal Police Office.

Visits like this not only strengthen international cooperation but also provide valuable experience exchange.

We extend our gratitude to our partners for their support and for facilitating the visit!
